My Story

Burger (2006-2018) Ozzy (2005-2016)
Hi I'm Grace. After 20 years working in the banking industry, I finally realized my passion was not in dealing with numbers and politics in the office.  Being with dogs allowing me to be myself. Porsche, Babie and Cookie were the first 3 Schnauzers I had.  They taught me how to love unconditionally and to enjoy every living moment.  When they were still puppies, I took them to a grooming shop for hair cut.  That was kind of costly since I had three.  So I invested in purchasing clippers and blades and some books to learn how to do hair cut on schnauzers.  I successfully copied the finishing look from the pictures in the books. Even the Vet I went to asked me where I took my dogs for grooming.  I surprised her that it was my work.  So I decided to take this to the next level. I took a full time dog grooming course at Western Dog Grooming School in Maple Ridge, BC on September 2004. For the past 10 years, I have not regret for a single moment that I changed my career.  Every day it's a gift to me to see my regular furry customers running to greet me when their owners dropping them off for a hair cut.

Dog Boarding had never cross my mind until one day, one of my favorite furry friend came to me with a tummy full of hot spots. According to the owner, they had went for a trip and left the dog in a kennel.  The dog was so stressed out from being locked up in the kennel most of the day, he started licking at the tummy area.  That was the day I decided to open up my home to my furry friends.  Let them to take a vacation too while their owner is having one.
